About Crosshair Generator

Design Your Perfect Reticle

Your crosshair is the most looked-at pixels on your screen. It is the bridge between your eyes and the game world. If it blends into the background, lacks contrast, or is too distracting, your performance will suffer. Our Crosshair Generator allows you to visually design, test, and export professional-grade crosshairs for games like Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Valorant, and Overwatch 2.

Whether you prefer a simple "Dot" for precision or a dynamic "Classic" crosshair to learn spray patterns, this tool gives you granular control over every pixel.

How to Use the Generator

  1. Select Style: Choose from "Cross", "Dot", "Circle", or "T-Shape".
  2. Adjust Layout: Use the sliders for Length, Gap, Thickness, and Outline to shape the reticle.
  3. Pick Color: Choose a high-contrast color. We recommend Cyan (#00FFFF) or Green (#00FF00) as they are rare in most map environments.
  4. Test It: Move the crosshair over our test backgrounds (Dust2 doors, Ascent sky, etc.) to ensure it remains visible.
  5. Export: Click "Copy Code" to get the console command (CS2) or settings profile (Valorant) to paste directly into your game.

Crosshair Theory: What Pros Use

  • The Dot: Used by "headshot machines" like ScreaM. Extremely precise but can be easy to lose in chaotic fights.
  • Small Cross (Gap 0): The most common pro crosshair. Offers a clear center point without blocking vision.
  • Gap Cross: A crosshair with a small hole in the middle. Good for long-range visibility so you can see the enemy's head inside the gap.
  • Dynamic: Expands when you move or shoot. Essential for beginners learning weapon inaccuracy and movement error.

FAQs

Q: What is the best color? A: Cyan (Light Blue) and Green are scientifically proven to be the most visible colors to the human eye against earth-toned maps (Tan/Brown). Avoid Red (blends with blood) or White (blends with sky).

Q: Should I use Outlines? A: Outlines (black borders) ensure visibility on any background but make the crosshair look thicker. Use a thin (1px) outline if you play on bright maps.

Q: Can I import this to console? A: Console games (like COD or Overwatch on PS5) usually have menu sliders that correspond to our values, but you cannot copy-paste the code strings directly.
