About Switch Sound Test

Building a custom keyboard? The sound is the most subjective part. We have recorded high-quality audio samples of the most popular mechanical switches so you can hear the difference before you buy.

### Switch Types * **Clicky (Blue/Green)**: Loud, tactile "click" sound. Great for typing, loud for roommates. * **Tactile (Brown/Clear)**: A bump you can feel, but no loud click. A quiet middle ground. * **Linear (Red/Yellow/Black)**: Smooth travel with no bump. Silent and fast. Best for gaming. * **Silent Switches**: Dampened stems for near-silent operation in offices.
